Requirements
This course is designed for learners who want to broaden their knowledge about the services that civil engineering professionals provide to the oil and gas industry.
Civil engineering professionals with a keen interest in the oil and gas industry often do not have much information or knowledge about how or where they fit into the industry. While information is abundant on the internet, it is hardly in the required format and takes hours to assemble, for those who try. In response to this challenge, I have developed this course primarily for students with a civil engineering background who want to gain a better understanding of the services that civil engineering professionals provide to the petroleum industry. The course will assist interested students to upgrade their knowledge about the industry, prepare for a rewarding career in oil and gas and serve as good reference material for those already in the industry.
The course is divided into 25 sections with each section providing insight into a specific civil work, construction equipment, or relevant oil and gas topic. The knowledge gained from all the sections will enable the learner to build a complete picture of where the services of civil engineering professionals are required in the oil and gas industry.
