This hands-on course is designed to teach you real AWS and Linux terminal skills in the easiest way possible.
If you’re new to AWS, Linux, or cloud security, this course is built for you.
We start from the beginning by helping you create a free AWS account and understand the AWS Console interface. You will explore the AWS home page, learn how to sign in correctly, and most importantly, understand AWS Billing and Cost Management so you can track usage and avoid surprise charges.
Next, we dive into AWS CloudShell — a powerful browser-based terminal that gives you a ready-to-use Linux environment inside AWS, without installing anything on your computer. You will learn how to navigate the file system, move between directories, list files, create folders, and work like a real cloud professional.
Then we move into practical automation. You’ll learn how to run real scripts inside CloudShell, including an AWS admin user creation script and a safe admin deletion script. This helps you understand how cloud engineers automate tasks and manage access in real environments.
After that, we focus on security fundamentals. You will learn Unix permission notation, what read, write, and execute permissions really mean, and how to secure sensitive files using chmod. This is one of the most important skills for anyone working with Linux, AWS, DevOps, or cloud systems.
Finally, we cover SSH key security — one of the most common authentication methods used in cloud environments. You will learn what SSH keys are, how to generate them, and how to test them properly.
