Requirements

You probably didn’t turn to Jesus, mindfulness, and yoga because everything in your life was going great.

I certainly did not.

For most of us, we are brought to Jesus, mindfulness and the mat at a time of crisis, searching, or a realization that we can be a better version of ourselves for our own well-being, Christ and our families.

 

We will all face moments of incredible pain & suffering.

 

With Grow-ya, I intend to show you practices that will help you cope within stressful times,

as well as enhance your worship, bible study, and fitness routine.

 

Turn your bad events, hurt, pain, and suffering into faith, wisdom, growth, purpose, & meaning.

We do this through practices of calm, meditation, & stillness.

 

This course include a big book of Christian Yoga and Theological info and facts comprising of 540 pages.

 

Within this book are sections on the history of yoga and Christianity, as well as more than 80 yoga poses with scripture references and the benefits of each pose.

 

There is also a section on Christian healthy living, the Christian and the yoga diet, as well as mindfulness practices and ideas, such as breathing techniques, meditation ideas, and information on the Chacras as well as mudras.

 

We also included as section on the Christian yoga class, structuring a class, as well as a section on the human body, the physiology,  and how the body move and work in relation to Yoga.

Know this, that once you are in the midst of a crisis, Jesus, and your practice of faith, movement, and stillness will always be there to catch you, and restore your heart, soul, and body.

 

I have served as an ordained Pastor in some of the biggest churches in South Africa.

I assisted youth and young adults with trauma-sensitive inclusive guidance and restoration as a Young Adults, Youth, and Children’s pastor. I Also worked with disadvantaged communities serving as a spiritual facilitator for those on the fringes of the community.

 

I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology, as well as many other qualifications in Faith based counselling as far back as 2002.

 

I also completed a 500-hour Yoga Alliance-certified yoga accreditation from some of the highest regarded Yoga teachers in India within the same period.

 

I have used Yoga and meditation as rehabilitation tools in my ministry to youth, young adults, and restoration ministries within the poor and neglected societies; since 2002.

 

I studied and completed over a 1000 hours of Yoga teacher training, since I started my yoga journey in 1994, placing me at the top of my field in the Christian Yoga community.

 

I hope to share my wisdom with you, and help you grow spiritually and physically fit.
