Requirements

Handpan is a very intuitive instrument and it is relatively easy to master. By the end of this course you will know how to create your own melodies on the handpan.

In this course we will teach you all you need to know in order to start making your own tunes with with your handpan.
We will teach you the most basic things, like how to sit, how to hit the instrument, how to use your fingers, etc. And we will also dive deeper on playing chords that are combined from a few notes hitted together. We will teach you an easy and fun techniques to create melodies by a simple counting. If you hold  “D KURD” you will be able to play along with us, otherwise you will watch each short lesson and than play the exercise on your handpan.
Our vast experience in teaching how to play the handpan had made us aware of what is important to emphasise, and we can proudly say that we know by now how to really simplify the whole learning process.
Even though we chose to record this course with a “D KURD”, it is suitable to all tonalities. If your handpan is not a “D KURD” you still will be able to play all the exercises shown in the course, just not together with us.
