Requirements
This 2-hour course introduces evidence-informed approaches to nutrition, herbs, supplements and lifestyle methods in the holistic management of gut disorders.
The course does not confer any license to practice nutrition but it is accredited as a CPD training by the IPHM (International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine) if you email the Hippocratic Institute upon completion. All participants receive a Udemy attendance certificate. The course is therefore suitable for self-help and as a CPD for practitioners.

In parts 1-4 we cover digestive function from a biomedical perspective, and couple this with the evidence-based effects of diet, herbs, supplements and lifestyle treatments & exercises. Because of this you will learn why these therapies work, and how to construct a protocol for yourself and your clients rather than painting by numbers. This offers an opportunity for an assignment in part 5 which allows you to make a bespoke method to manage acne based on your individual needs.
