How to erase the history of Safari on an iPad?

In this tutorial, we explain how to erase the internet history of your iPad, directly from the Safari browser and through your Settings.

Clear history from Safari

To delete your history from Safari, go to your home screen and tap Safari. On the web page that opens, tap the open book icon at the top left.

Three tabs appear, press History (the clock on the right), then Clear, which is at the bottom of the list of visited sites.

Finally, in the pop-up that opens, you just have to select the history you want to delete ( the last hour, today, yesterday and today, all history ).


Clear history from Settings

To clear your history from Settings, go to your Home screen, and tap Settings.

At the very bottom of the list of features, select Safari, then in the menu on the right, tap Clear history, site data. And finally, on Delete, to confirm this deletion.
