This course provides in-depth training in Radiographic Testing (RT), a crucial method in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) used to detect internal defects in welds, castings, and components using X-rays or Gamma rays.

You’ll begin by understanding the basic physics of radiation, types of radiation sources (X-ray and Iridium-192/CO-60), and safety procedures. The course covers exposure techniques, film selection, sensitivity, IQI placement, and darkroom processing. Real-world images, radiographs, and interpretation examples help you understand defect types like porosity, slag, cracks, lack of fusion, and other volumetric discontinuities.

A major focus is placed on film interpretation, code requirements (ASME Section V & VIII), and report preparation. You’ll also learn how to evaluate image quality, detect unacceptable discontinuities, and follow proper documentation protocols and standards.

Whether you’re preparing for Level I or II RT certification or want to expand your industrial inspection skills, this course equips you with the theoretical and practical knowledge needed. The content aligns with ASNT, ISO, and other international standards.

The course includes downloadable charts, radiographic image samples, safety guidelines, and inspection checklists to reinforce learning. It is designed to support students, freshers, and working professionals aiming to succeed confidently in real-world RT inspection roles across industries and technical sectors worldwide.
