In this class, we will walk through the role of a Quality Assurance analyst. This includes the following topics:
- Review the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the SDLC roles
- Discuss the role of the Quality assurance analyst fits in the SDLC
- Discus the differences between Quality Control and Quality Assurance
- A review of several key terms needed to fully understand quality assurance
- Review the most common types of functional testing, when they occur during a project, and practice writing your own scripts.
- Discuss the needs and challenges of “test” data in various environments
