Net Backup Data Protection - Part 3

Requirements

This course is designed to help IT professionals interested to take backup administrator job role and enhance their skills in the data protection domain.

It is divided into three courses based on the role of job and the level of knowledge required based on the candidate level of IT experience and exposure.

This course will help students to gain knowledge on backup and restore components of data protection.

It focuses on key fundamentals of data protection such as creating backup policies, configuring backup devices and restoring data in case of data loss.

It gives an overview of the net backup architecture and features that helps enterprises to protect the mission critical applications and databases.

Students will learn how to perform day to day activity using the User Interface for monitoring and administration the backup software.

It is recommended to take all the three courses one by one so that you can gain full knowledge of data protection and understand the components, features and agents.

The pre-requisite for this course is not mandatory however if you have working knowledge of network, system administration and any other backup product will help you to understand the topics.

If you are new to data protection then I suggest you to ready introduction to backup methods and importance of backup technology in the IT industry. A course of Basic Backup Introduction will be published as well soon.
